One of FLM s toughest and sturdiest tripods, the Atlas 42-S2 Carbon Fiber Tripod features two sections, with 1.5 carbon fiber tubes on the top section and 1.7 on the bottom. It comes with a flat plate with a 3/8 -16 mounting screw and supports up to 132 lb. The maximum working height is 53.4 . Thanks to a reverse leg design, the minimum height is a very low 4.3 . The tripod has rubber and spiked feet.

With the included flat plate removed, the apex supports optional 100 and 75mm FLM bowl adapters (CC-100 or CC-75). The apex has a safety catch and a quick lock system that secures the adapter in place.
