Neewer TP62 Overview

The TP62 Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with Ball Head from Neewer is a lightweight and versatile travel tripod with a load capacity of 22 lb and a maximum height of 62" . It folds to a compact 17" long with a diameter of 2.6" and weighs just 2.6 lb, making it easy to carry along wherever a tripod may be needed. The quick leveling ball head has an integrated Arca-type quick release clamp with a square plate that is suitable for use with both still and video cameras.

Versatile Quick Leveling Ball Head

The 360° panoramic ball head allows for +/-15° quick leveling and dual slots for 90° vertical tilt. All movements easily lock with a flip buckle. A bubble level lets you keep the camera straight. This interchangeable head includes a 3/8" -16 to 1/4" -20 bushing adapter, allowing it to be used with other tripods and supports.

Quick Lock Arca-Type Square QR Plate

The Arca-type quick release plate is also compatible with the Peak Design Capture Clip v3. A side button enables you to quickly switch between the tripod and various camera mount clamp bases. A safety lock prevents accidental contact with the button.

Quick Release Spring-Loaded Flip Lock Joints

Spring-loaded metal flip lock joints swiftly pop up and unlock with a half open motion, enabling rapid and stable height adjustment. The extended wing design ensures secure lock and release action without pinching.

The center column is removable and reversible for ground level and macro photography. It splits into a short column for low-perspective shooting when the tripod legs are spread wide. The column also includes a ballast hook for hanging a counterweight for added stability. The ballast hook unscrews to reveal a convenient included Allen key.

Accessory Expansion and Spikes

Two 1/4" -20 threads on the tripod spider can connect magic arms, ball head adapters, and other accessories. Nonslip feet are removable for installing spikes, which allow the tripod to stabilize on sandy, rocky, and muddy terrain.
