Barber Shop Razor Cut Camera Wrist Strap (Calf Hair)

I was never a fan of wrist straps; either too flimsy or looks like I made it myself in high school leather shop. This strap looks fantastic, clean and professional, understated, strong and secure. I use one strap for multiple cameras, easily clips off and on. I keep a small ring on the camera's right strap lug. This strap has protective leather tab to minimize brassing at lug. I've used multiple nice Leica brand leather neck straps (look awesome too, but need multiples for other camera bodies; and feel tethered at neck to your camera. This strap gives you more freedom and spontaneity . But it! You'll love it!

After putting it on to the camera, this is it. Nice quality and very secure, also very stylish. The length is a bit shorter to me but won't bother too much.

I think it is good, but not having instructions included in the packet is a problem, i am not sure i tied it in the right way to the computer and it is not tights enough on my rist, but i can remove the big strap esp for street photo-ing

This is one of the nicer wrist straps that I've seen. Moderately wide Leather strap is sturdy. Item is made in Italy and arrives nicely packaged. One reason I kept it is there's a snap link, and if you put a split ring on other camera bodies you can quickly switch the strap to that camera. The only real negative is that it's on the pricey side (i.e., 50 would be more like it), but I reckon being made in Italy vs China is the chief reason - and I'm OK w/ that.

You can call me a street photographer, in that I walk the streets of with my camera poised to shoot. What works for me, is to use a wrist strap, attached to the O/D ring, not the tripod socket, like so many other pro attachments. My hand wraps around the hand grip and can dangle from my wrist if necessary. They are small compared to a full strap. The camera is both readily available and safely attached. To me, having the camera dangling upside down from the tripos socket is just bad fung shui. I have used and still like OpTech's neoprene wrist strap and Peak Design's wrist strap. Both are simple good wrist straps. Neither is perfect; the neoprene gets sweaty in the summer, and the peak design's attachment cord to the camera is a little thin for my taste. So, when I saw this strap from Barber Shop (in Italy) at the recent NY Photo Expo, I wanted it. The strap itself is very sturdy and made of Italian Leather, offered in a few colors. It is backed with smooth suede, and just feels luxurious. Like something you would want to hold all day. I was able to apply a show discount with so that made it more attractive. I bought it in black to match my DSLR (Nikon D750). The only aspects I don't like are the cloth attachment strip that goes through the O/D ring. I would have preferred something thicker (like the OP Tech cord). So I added secondary protection by also threading my Peak Design attachment cord, which is small, through the O/D ring. The only other minor quibble is that the strap uses a ring that slides tight by itself, rather than a manual sliding mechanism. The leather and hardware are very high quality. If you want to treat yourself and your camera for all your good work, and like a wrist strap (without a thick pad), then I think you will be very happy with this not too extravagant camera accessory.
