Kinesis H717-K X-Harness
EAN:680474821891
The H717-K X-Harness from Kinesis is designed to hold a heavy DSLR along with an attached lens against the chest. A pair of high-density polyethylene staves at the front of the harness and an x-style crisscross rear design transfers loads away from the neck and shoulder for increased comfort.
.24 (6mm) of closed-cell foam padding on the harness s shoulder area, and 2.95 (75mm)-wide, breathable .12 (3mm) padded spacer fabric on the inside surface are included for comfort, while smooth-coated 400 denier nylon on the outer surface provides durability.
Though designed to function independently, the H717-K X-Harness can be used to provide additional stability to a padded Kinesis belt. This can be accomplished by attaching such a belt to the harness with a separately-sold Kinesis H167 4-Point Suspender Adapter, or should a camera also be worn on the harness s front, an H163 3-Point Suspender Adapter.
A Kinesis H675 PJ Camera Strap can be used in tandem with this harness to switch a camera between two carrying methods. Op/Tech, UPstrap, or Tamrac neck strap systems with sewn-in quick-release buckles can be used with the H717-K X-Harness by adding Kinesis H439 Harness to Op/Tech Straps, H441 Harness to UPstrap Camera Straps, or H442 Harness to Tamrac Straps respectively. Alternatively, H437 Harness to Snap Hook Straps allow a holster or pouch with D-Rings to be carried on the chest. These items are also sold separately.
A pair of H436 Harness to Kinesis Camera Straps as well as a pair of H435 Kinesis Camera Adapters are included with the H717-K X-Harness. The H436 straps join the harness to H435 adapters which allow a camera to attach to the harness without a neckstrap. An included sway-free strap helps keep a camera or holster from swinging excessively when attached to the harness. A Y215 Basic Shoulder Strap can also be added, snapped onto the D-Rings of the harness, and then run around the back of the torso for additional stability.
Kinesis H675 PJ Camera Strap
EAN:680474821976
The Kinesis H675 PJ Camera Strap is a camera strap designed for photojournalists or photographers whose pace of work requires the ability to quickly and easily detach a connected camera from it for such purposes as moving only the camera to a tripod, or connecting another camera to the strap. This is made possible in part due to a pair of included H435 Kinesis Camera Adapters which feature standard Kinesis female camera connection buckles. The buckles on the adapter snap onto or off of the male camera connection buckles on the camera strap.
Constructed for comfort and usable as neck or shoulder strap, the H675 PJ Camera Strap features breathable soft knit fabric, 0.08 of open cell foam padding, and has a bottom side that features a rubber-like surface to provide a non-slip grip.
The length of this strap is adjustable from 30.00 to 47.25 and is up to 2.00 wide. The H675 PJ Camera Strap is compatible with Kinesis pack adapters, harnesses, or camera adapters that feature standard Kinesis female camera connection buckles such as the included H435 Kinesis Camera Adapters. Additional adapters may be purchased to allow for quick switching of the strap among multiple camera bodies. While the H435 Kinesis Camera Adapters are designed to fit most cameras that can accept a camera strap, they may not fit some cameras such as those that have .25 strap lugs. Such cameras can be adapted to the included camera adapters using a pair of the separately-sold Kinesis H431 Camera Split O-Rings.
