Design features include gasket sealing that makes the case dust and waterproof, a molded-in hinge for added strength, seven stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and six trigger release latches arrayed around the case on three sides that seal the interior tight. The case is further resistant to a variety of hazards that you may encounter such as impacts, ultraviolet (UV) radiation, solvents, corrosion, and even fungi. Apressure relief valve comes into play especially during air transport by regulating the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop.
