SKB iSeries 1309 Waterproof Case for Sony A7R IV Camera

Thanx to the Think Tank Collaboration on this case it is Deceptively small on the Exterior , with Substantial Interior Accommodations which enable case to Easily hold a Full Size DSLR or Mirrorless Camera with a professional L series Canon lens attached .. I purchased case to transport my 5dmk4 with the 70 - 200mm 2.8 L or the 100- 400 5.6 L attached to camera body for in car maximum protection as I can place case on passenger seat and secure with seatbelt and have peace of mind if I am involved in an accident I know my expensive gear is as protected as possible .. Case will hold a second lens such as a 28 - 70 L , and still have space for battery charger and 2 batteries as well .. Case is Strong Material with a Very nicely Padded interior , 1 piece insert , which is sewn together with high Quality Stitching , Dividers are Slim but Sturdy and have Great adhesion to Liner .. Everything Stays in Place .. I have just returned from Vacation in which I traveled by Commercial Airline and was Very Happy to have this Case for my Gear .. Boarding airplane was an Absolute Ease , Case was Not even Measured or Weighed for Carry - on Item.. Case Easily Stores in Overhead Bin with space for a jacket or handbag etc.. , Case is Small and Light enough that you do not get Tired of Carrying , this means you can Keep Expensive Gear in your hand and Not feel Need to set it Down , which makes it Less Likely to be Targeted by a Would be Thief ! This is a HUGE Plus for Travel .. I am Very Impressed with this Case , and will be useing it for travel and Storage of my Canon Equipment .. Recommend to others and I would purchase again without hesitation ..

This is my first SKB , I own 7 Nanuk and 2 Pelican cases .. The 1309-6 is an Excellent choice for Compact Carry , and for Photographer who wants to Keep a Lens Attached to Camera Body .. This Case Easily Holds my 5dmk4 with the 100 - 400 5.6 L attached with the tripod collar and hood reversed in main compartment .. also holds my 85mm f1.8 L and hood , charger and batteries and filters .. Case and interior are Comparable to Pelican Vault series , this case is a Full 1 inch deeper interior depth than Pelican V200 . This is also an Excellent case for Travel , will Carry and Protect a Single Camera with modest lens assortment, yet will Fit in any Airline .. Train .. Bus .. Storage Compartment with Plenty of Space to Spare , and is Easy to Carry Anyplace you Travel .. Is also an Excellent Choice for Beginer or someone on a budget who does not have Multiple Cameras and Lenses to store .. This is a Solid Investment , and I am Very Happy with this Case and would Reccommend to others ..

It's a great little case at nice price point. I like the lighter weight and features of the SKB iSeries cases. The latches take a little getting use to if you are familiar with Pelican, but they are nice, and easier to manage for folks with more delicate hands. The Think Tank system is what keeps me coming back to this case. Its a great system. I have 3 larger cases with this system.

I had to modify to fit the camera in case with cage on camera. The basic canon lens I have did not fit in the small cutout holes
