Tenba Skyline 9 Top Load (Black)

I have used a Ruggard Hunter Pro holster bag for a number of years and have always been happy with it. However, when I recently got a Sigma 50-150 lens for my D500, the combo was too long for my Ruggard bag. The only holster bag that carries that was the right size for me was this one. I use an old Tenba sling bag with my birding rig and have always liked it, so I decided to give this bag a try. My camera and 50-150 fit in the Tenba, but it is a bit of a disappointment. The padding is quite thin; the mesh pocket doesn't have a zipper, so every time you open the bag the mesh contents fall out; and the bag's outer material does not look like it will hold up to constant use for very long. On the positive side, the inside area next to the lens can hold the spare battery, memory card, and lens wipes I would have put in the mesh pocket if it were fit for purpose. Who knows? If the bag surprises me and proves to be rugged, I may end up warming to it.
