ONA The Rockaway Camera Sling (Dark Truffle)

Bag looks great - hangs confortably on my back - stands when I want it too and flips around easily when I am on the move and want instant access to my camera

I love the look/style of this small sling bag, but couldn't bring myself to pay full price. I couldn't resist when it went on Black Friday sale although it still feels like a splurge. One of the things I love about the Rockaway is it doesn't look like a camera bag to me. It's comfortable to wear on my back, pulls easily to the front, and is easy to get gear in and out of it. It looks relatively small, but I've found it holds a fair amount of gear. For example, I can put a Nikon Z8 with 24-120 f/4 lens attached and the 14-24 f/2.8 lens in the bag at the same time. Either lens could be attached to the body, or you could keep them both detached as the bag comes with two removable dividers. The Z8 is a little taller than the bag is wide, but I've found it fits just fine if you put the camera body in the middle of the bag (you can't get it all the way against one of the ends because of the extra height). I suspect a Z6ii or Z7ii would fit against the end of the bag with no problem as they are little shorter than the Z8. The bag is also long enough to hold the Nikon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 lens, with about an inch to spare ... but not when attached to the camera. However, I found I could lay the Z8 on top of the lens, separating the two with a foam cushion I had. I did have to remove the lens foot for this to work, but that's easy to do with this lens.

The leather feels great, everything about the construction seems like outstanding quality. There is a handle on the top side which makes it perfect for picking it up. The body side of the bag is canvas, instead of leather, which is good because that would get marked up from hitting your belt, zippers, etc. The only reason I rated this a 4 instead of a 5 is because despite being marketed as a DSLR camera bag, it's on the smaller side and my mirrorless barely which leads me to believe any full sized DSLR would be too big, especially full frame.

The bag looks neat. The materials are good. Despite its compact design, the bag fits a sony a7r4 with a tamron 150-500 lens.

Leather is beautiful and soft, the bag keeps it's shape and structure perfectly. Great walkaround bag for a Leica and 2 additional lenses.

Tried many cases to accommodate a Sony A7 Riii with a Sigma 24-70 and flash. Nothing seemed to work. Then tried this case and was blown away with the quality and the fit was perfect. Best case for the money.

Bag sits up on its own, just enough room to carry a minimal kit without the bag being stuffed. Nice leather quality and it sit on the back nicely.
