Tenba Cooper 6 Messenger Bag with Leather Accents (Gray)

I've reviewed this product before and my review disappeared so writing it again - because this needs to be said, This Tenba Cooper bag is well made and the materials are top quality and appropriate. Its a rugged little bag - emphasis on little. By the measurements it should suit my purposes just fine - I wanted it to hold a Fuji XPro-3 with a small mounted prime lens, and a spare prime and a battery or two. Shouldn't be a problem, however it is. The size of the bag is fine, the issue is the construction of the zipper and opening. The zipper has a diagonal track on the sides and across the top. When you unzip it all the way and pull it open the opening is very narrow - and it fights you when you try to open it up. The construction has the bag fighting you to spread it open, and when a single divider is on the inside it is difficult to pull out the camera or the additional lens without the zipper biting into the finish. A flip top or a zipper around the top would completely eliminate the problem. The zipper looks stylish - guess that's the point. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. The Pro-3 is not a large camera, yet this bag just doesn't work. I would recommend it for something like a pocket point and shoot and accessories, or something pretty small - just not for what I believe its intended for.
