Hazard 4 Plan-B Hard Shell Go-Bag Sling-Pack (Black)

This is my second Hazard 4 sling pack (Also have the drone version). I was very impressed with the quality and well thought out design of my first Hazard 4 purchase and made this second purchase based on that positive experience. This sling pack does not disappoint, same high quality and great design, exactly fits the purpose I purchased this pack for - to be able to get a camera with long telephoto lens out and start shooting without having to take the pack off.

A few things I'm not thrilled with, but overall I'm happy with the purchase. I needed something bigger than the average sling, but didn't want a full on back pack (not to mention I hate back packs in general - they never fit me right and are very uncomfortable). The sizing on this is PERFECT. 1 or 2 cameras w a few lenses. I'd buy it again. I will also say that I will be checking Hazard 4 first when I need a different size bag... Fit and finish: It appears to be made really well! The straps are long enough for my big frame and, although I usually hate wide straps, this one is ultra comfy. The hard shell is nice, but not overly heavy. The handles on both ends are nice and they feel very well made. The overall theme here is well made and surprisingly light. Function: The zipper being on the back is a little weird. The zillion straps etc make opening once unzipped clumsy. No opening this one while its on you - but for a bag this size, I'm not too concerned about that. The dividers feel very well made - I have no concerns about gear knocking around. I do wish someone would come up with a better system than the velcro. It is totally tortuous to configure (as any bag with it) and when I do it, it never looks exactly right. I usually just end up leaving it a mess out of frustration. Wish there was more than the removable pouch thing for smalls. To me, removable = losable. The bag is certainly deep enough to incorporate some pockets. In fact, I'll say this is the bag's Achilles heel. I usually like to bring a few tools, card cases, batteries and there's not a lot of dedicated space. I know I can add on or buy a velcro thingy but I shouldn't have to at this ... There is a myriad of straps etc. Probably loved by hikers etc. The bag is still new to me, but I have a distinct feeling I'll end up cutting all but the main one off. Not a big deal. The main strap doesn't quite stay once cinched. This will probably change as I break it in. My main concern for this is there is a cool D ring for your camera as well as not having a super secure way to stop the whole strap from coming loose (I'm NOT talking about the clasp...that thing looks like it can withstand a direct hit from a mortar! But rather where the strap weaves through the buckle) All in all these gripes are very minor, nit picky things. Really do dig the bag!

Such a solid case! Heavy duty straps, etc. Worth every penny. Only minor complaint is there are mounting holes on case and they dont have plugs to resist water intrusion. But i would definitely buy again!

Outstanding product! I bought it used but it still had the brand new tags on it! Excellent but and saved about 50 bucks!!!!

I purchased this bag for the same purpose as another reviewer. Namely, something in which to carry a body with a big lens attached (and lens shade as well) while biking. I wanted something whereby I could stop and quickly access the camera. I knew that my combo would be longer than that of the reviewer, but checked the specifications before purchasing. My combo required a length of 18.5 inches and the specifications claimed an inside length of 19.5 inches. It's not. My combo (Sony A7R IV plus Sony 1.4 extender plus Sony 200 - 600 zoom plus lens hood) barely fit inside. So, I like it, but beware of the claimed specifications.

Great bag. I can fit my Tamron 150-600 with camera attached in the bag, as well as two small lens. The only draw back is the zippered flap is on the back of the case, so when you want to open the case you have to maneuver around the straps, which makes accessibility a chore. I would give it 5 stars if it was not so frustrating to get my camera in and out. Very well cushioned, and you can set up compartments the way you want it to fit your needs.

When biking with my Nikon D750 and my 200-500 attached there was no way to have my camera ready without descending from my bike when there was a bird of prey or another subject insight. It is a matter of seconds. With this Hazard 4 Plan-B sling bag, I only need to turn the bag in from of me and take out the camera with lens and hood attached. No need to get off the bike first. Happy, really happy and fast delivery to Belgium without surprizes with taxes, etc.
