Hex Ranger DSLR Mini Sling Camera Bag (Blackout Camo)

My Nikon Z7II with my 40mm f2 fits very well and there is a little insufficient space for other lenses but it can be useful for some other accessory. I suppose it will also work with larger lenses like the 50 with Z mount. But with an adapter and any other lens the space is insufficient. The quality is good and it is perfect for what I needed, which is to take the camera with me for walks around the city. If I have to carry more objectives, I prefer the backpack.

It's a good bag but won't work well for the camera I bought it for. I bought it for my Fuji x-h2 and the camera is just a bit too big for the bag. I could probably make it work with a 1 lens setup but at that point why not just use the camera strap. I'll probably repurpose it for a bad to walk around with to hold a water and my keys when I don't have pockets or if I get a smaller camera in the future. Let's face it I'll probably get a smaller camera anyway.

I bought this and promptly returned it... the zippers are all metal and are like little bells while you're walking around. Forget it! Buy something quieter.

The bag is great, I just wish it were a tad bigger. It can't fit my Sony a7iii and Tamron 28-75 by about 2 inches but the next size up was simply too, too big. Otherwise, very solid build.

I ordered this as a birthday gift for my son. Based on the photos on the site, I thought I was getting the larger size up as pictured in the photos of the item. I'm out in rural Arizona and have always ordered from , and this is the first time I've had anything like this happen. I trust so I trusted the item photos displayed. My son opted to just keep the smaller bag because he is sweet like that, but I really wanted to get him the larger sized one.

This is the perfect size bag for a hobbiest who wants to carry a lens or two, a battery and your phone. Works great with the smaller mirrorless cameras

The Hex Ranger Mini is a great bag for the Fuji X100v. I'm able to carry it, along with the WCL conversion lens, two extra batteries, charging cable, lens cleaning wipes, lens pen, wrist strap and full-length neck strap (Peak Designs both), a couple extra SD cards, and a micro fiber cloth. It has proven comfortable to carry, and so far, durable. The zippers are solid, but work better with zipper pulls (easy to add), and I like how quickly I can get access to my camera. A very nice, small, compact, carry solution. The Black Camo looks amazing. Negatives? The adjustment straps, as others have mentioned, really don't do much, as you will rarely, if ever, need to reduce the volume of this bag. They do look nice, however, and do offer hanging points for small items, so really not a negative. I also, would gladly give up the external cell phone pocket for a bit more internal volume as a whole. A bit more padding overall would have been nice, although I make it work - the three included pads/dividers do provide a reasonable amount of flexibility in that regard. Overall, I am happy to give this bag 4-stars. A good item for a sleek carry option that works quite nicely with my X100v, allowing me to carry everything I need, plus a bit more, and nothing I don't.

I bought this after seeing some reviews on youtube and I should have known better. The bag looked perfect for my needs. I want something to carry my Canon R6 with 24-105 attached for walking around. I have a Billingham Hadley Pro but it's too big for a lot of days where I just take one camera and lens. Unfortunately, Hex's statement that this bag is for DSLRs is a bit ambitious. It barely fits my R6 sideways but worse, the weight makes the bag tilt forward so if you unzip the bag, you better remember to hold it upright otherwise your camera will be on the sidewalk. It also hangs weirdly due to the way the straps are placed. Even with the padding inside the camera protrudes into your back and bounces around. I highly doubt a lot of testing went into this bag in terms of actually wearing around the streets. The sad part is the bag is very well constructed and made of Cordura. It seems like it would last a long time and the subtle camo and overall appearance is great. I just can't use it!
