The forest green binder and black case are constructed from .100 kappa binder s board, which is a bookmaking board with no glue between the layers. The adhesive is pH-balanced and buffered.
The interior of the binder is lined with 10-point cardstock, and the case is lined with 80 lb paper. Both the cardstock and paper are acid- and lignin-free as well as sulfur resistant. The exteriors of the set are covered in a library-quality, F-grade poly-cotton buckram and are made with a moisture-resistant, 100% aqueous acrylic coating. The binder and case have been PAT tested and passed, which makes them suitable for long-term storage.
