Acomplete artist s studio tool, the Simplex Elite sizes mat board, foam board and glass, and cuts bevel opening mats, plexi and acrylic material. Of course, it can also trim paper. Abase board mounted mat cutter, the Elite features a hinging guide rail with production stops and a parallel mat guide in aluminum channels. The Simplex has a maximum cut length of 60 (1.5 m), and also features a 27 (68.6 cm) squaring arm with stop.
Both bevel and straight cutting heads are included, as are an 8-ply bevel cutter, glass cutter, acrylic plexi cutter and paper trimmer. There s even an updated #245 Complete Guide to Home Picture Framing book in the box. The Simplex Elite uses the Logan blade #270 or 271 and the glass wheels #786.
