The camera mounts to the bracket via a 1/4`-20 male threaded screw, and the anti-twist lip on the plate prevents and minimizes any movement between the camera and the bracket. The camera`s ports are completely accessible, but the 1/4`-20 mounting screw can loosen and readjust to allow the camera to slide apart to give more room for other cables. At the same time, the battery chamber and the tilting LCD screen are not blocked from being opened or to move freely about.
