The ASTAT-CN from Novoflex is a supportive tripod collar designed to be used with Novoflex`s line of Nikon and Canon to Leica SL lens adapters.
When mounted, the collar relieves pressure from the SL`s lens mount by supporting the adapter and lens with the help of an optional tripod or monopod. The collar itself is simple and easy to install; simply loosen the clamp with the integrated knurled knob, slide it over the lens adapter, and then re-tighten.
Offering a variety of connection options, the ASTAT-CN may be mounted with a 1/4`-20 or 3/8`-16 screw thread, or via the built-in Arca-type dovetail.
