The top of the leveling base features an Arca-type compatible lever-release clamp. Meanwhile, attaching a quick release plate to a ball, gimbal, or fluid type head gives you the ability to easily and quickly switch out heads with the lever-release clamp. After locking the level`s low-profile knob in place, the base supports up to 25 lb of gear without slipping. In addition, the CNC machined 6061 aluminum leveling base has a Type II anodized finish, which makes it scratch- and corrosion-resistant.
