The top of the leveling base features a low friction anti-jam polymer plate with a 3/8`-16 male stud. The ball, gimbal, and fluid heads with the same thread screw directly to the base. After locking the level`s low-profile handle in place, the base supports up to 50 lb of gear without slipping. the CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum leveling base has a durable Type II anodized finish.
