Confirm the integrity of the watertight seal on your Ikelite underwater camera housing with this Vacuum Kit for 1/2` Accessory Ports. The bundle includes a valve, a hand pump with a gauge, and a tubing insert. All together, these components allow you to check for leaks and create a vacuum inside your housing, in order to protect your camera and lens against water damage. The kit is compatible with all Ikelite enclosures that have spare 1/2`-20 accessory ports, including most models with opaque white fronts. Just remove the port`s plug and replace it with the valve. The kit can also be installed in place of the 1/4`-20 top mount on all DSLR housings made since 2009.
Simply secure one nut inside the housing in order to complete the valve installation. To avoid interference with controls, the vacuum valve has been designed with a low profile. The supplied waterproof plug is attached to the fitting to prevent accidental loss.
