Aquatica O-Ring Rebuilding Kit for Aquatica Flat Macro Ports
EAN: 018208187614
This O-Ring Rebuilding Kit from Aquatica contains all necessary O-rings for the flat, bayonet-mounted AF/MF Macro Port (18426), the AF Macro Port (18428), and the Low Profile Macro Port (18429), as well as a container of silicone lubricant to keep rings from drying out and cracking. Manufactured to precision tolerances, Aquatica s neoprene o-rings resemble thick rubber bands and are designed to establish a watertight seal when going underwater.
Rebuilding requires disassembly in order to replace all sealing O-rings, which should only be attempted by trained and qualified individuals. If the housing is not equipped with a Surveyor Vacuum Monitoring system, a pressure test or test dive without the camera inside should be performed to validate the sealing integrity of the housing. Failure to perform this test could result in serious damage to your camera and lens if O-rings are improperly installed.
