This compact version has a much slimmer profile than the standard 8 port, resulting in lower volume and making it a great choice for close focusing during wide-angle shots. The smaller size also saves space in your photo bag.
Built for durability, this American-made port features an optical acrylic front element and an acetyl plastic body. Protruding edges on the top and bottom act as a built-in shade, shielding the dome from excess light to prevent glare and lens flare. These edges also provide a little added protection against impact if you get a bit too close to your subject.
