The enclosure has a depth rating of 295`, which can be upgraded upon request to 426`. This version of the housing also includes a pre-installed vacuum check system, which allows you to confirm watertight integrity before the dive. An Ikelite TTL/manual connector enables the attachment of optional external strobes via sync cords. The standard, coated eyepiece offers a full view of the camera`s viewfinder.

The housing provides access to virtually all camera functions via mechanical push-button, knob/dial, and lever controls. Waterproofing

• Known as the Vacuum Circuitry and Alarm Kit, the atmospheric pressure-sensitive system consists of a vacuum valve, an extracting pump, and a moisture alarm/pressure sensor with an on/off switch

Construction Details

• Built for durability, especially resistance to corrosion, the housing is made in Canada from an anodized 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and stainless steel
• Anodizing meets MIL-A-8625 Type 2, Class 2 specification
• Housing shell is crafted using 5-axis, computer-assisted machines
• Black polyester powder coating is baked on at a high temperature for extra protection (meets A.A.M.A 2603-98 specification)
• All push buttons and control shafts are made from Type 304 stainless steel
• Stainless steel latches are equipped with safety tabs for extra security
• Housing has been tested in harsh conditions in Canada
