Ikelite 50DL Underwater Housing for Canon EOS R5 Camera

Ergonomic mechanical controls, including pushbuttons, knurled knobs/dials, and levers, afford access to virtually all camera functions. Built for durability, the enclosure is made in the USA from a corrosion-resistant polycarbonate and ABS plastic blend. It`s white on the front, top, sides, and bottom but clear in the back to allow you to monitor the O-ring seal and maintain your view of the camera`s rear controls. The supplied aluminum tray with a left-hand quick release grip affords improved balance and handling while offering an attachment point for an optional lighting arm.

Add an optional B1A Bulkhead #46002 and Canon C1 Hotshoe (Manual) #46071 to enable reliable electrical triggering of external strobes. For TTL operation, add the optional DL5 DS Link Canon TTL Converter B1A Bulkhead and CT1 TTL Hotshoe Kit #46076 with a compatible Ikelite DS strobe. The DS Link can be programmed to the camera`s specific TTL protocol and supports both first curtain and rear curtain sync up to the camera`s maximum flash sync speed. Exposure compensation can be added or subtracted in the camera. A push button and indicator light on the side of the converter make it simple to switch back and forth between TTL and manual exposure underwater.

The housing ships without a required lens port, and it accepts all Ikelite Dry Lock (DL) series dome and flat ports for a broad array of zoom, macro, and wide-angle lenses. Zoom gears are available for many lenses, as well.
