K-Tek Stingray Lav Pouch (Set of 3)

I buy these regularly like milk. I ran out of lavs to store and then discovered that basically anything small I want to hold on to fits in them as well and now I can't get enough of them. The flexible openings that snap shut and open with a pinch are terribly clever; it is the intersection of accessibility and security. The dedicated label area boasts reusability by cleaning the area with alcohol and/or nail polish remover but my results have varied based on the type of marker and the length of time since it was written. That should not discourage you from buying... just something of which to be aware.

I actually have an entirely different storage system for my lavaliere mics, but I bought these to hold other little items that tend to get lost. Great for sets of ear buds in a Comtek kit. Also good for stashing a pair of small, rechargeable batteries (AA, 14500, or similar) in a kit. Sturdy construction, holds closed with tension of a metal band around the opening. Squeeze to open, release to close.

Ive had trouble finding little pouches that can house my ECM-77BMP and Rode mini-cables. The clear window makes it easy to see at a glance whats inside and there is white strip at the top to label. Recommended.

The default picture doesn't show it (and is too low-resolution for me anyway), but the reverse ~ back side of the pouch is transparent, so you can see what you have in each pouch without having to open it. They also open quite well-it looks like they'd use cheap tension strings like the pouches Rde uses, but the top open/closure is really some sort of spring or flexible scissor mechanism. You can open them one-handed and your mics won't slip out in transit. It's just good. There's also a white strip at the top of the back you could use for writing stuff on. I'll attempt to illustrate everything but the nice opening mechanism with a hasty phone snapshot of one of mine (with a mediocre Sennheiser ME2-II in it). I edited the photo a little to try to make it clearer. Side-note: Before I tried this, I tried an Orca zip-up pouch which claimed to hold three lavs and some accessories for them well and that is bad; it's an ORCA OR-29 Pouch for Capsules & Audio Accessories in this sites parlance and even $19 is too much to ask for it. Do not buy it. I'm sad to say this, because apart from that one product I love Orca, namely their bags. With that thing you have to squeeze your lav cables tight to fit them in, and it's just miserable and not a good product. Generic ziplock bags do a better job than that.

While it is great for the intended purpose, this fantastic little pouch has many "transferable skills" ... I mean, many possible uses. I have ear bus in one, an audio coupler and coil cable in another and really should buy more. Highly recommend!
