The expands upon the efficiency of the VDV II PLUS with TDR technology, media service detection, and PoE++ network information, providing up to 90W of testing power. A 6-pin RJ-11/RJ-12 port, an RJ45 port, and a Coax F-type port on the VDV II allow you to connect and verify copper cables typically found in domestic, commercial, or industrial applications. The VDV II PRO can subsequently measure the cable's length and determine the signal running through the cable-from ISDN and PBX telephone services to PoE.
Powered pairs, network rate, and voltage information among other information, is displayed on the large, 2.9" backlit screen of the VDV II PRO. TDR information is efficiently generated by the device to determine distance to fault and pinpoint damage to the cable. The included remote unit or dual-port remote unit can be embedded into the bottom of the device for easy storage and portability. Various cables and connectors included with the VDV II PRO allow you to test different cable types and connections with a singular device. The VDV II PRO is powered by an included 9V alkaline battery and it can be stored with all of tis accessories in the carrying case.
