Palmer PENZ Overview
Developed for professional applications in the fields of studio recording, stage performance, TV/broadcast, live event, and home audio, the Palmer RIVER enz is a two-channel, line-isolation box used to eliminate ground-loop hum and interfering signals when connecting a media player or a laptop to a Hi-Fi or PA system. Featuring a passive design that requires no battery, RIVER enz utilizes galvanic-isolation technology via its two transformers to preserve the sound quality of the two audio channels. Use the ground-lift switch to disconnect the ground connections from the inputs and outputs and further eliminate hum loops.
RIVER enz s inputs and outputs are unbalanced RCA connectors, which are commonly found on Hi-Fi and consumer equipment. Engineered in Germany and built to last, the unit is virtually indestructible thanks to its rugged, aluminum-and-steel casing and reinforced connectors.
