The PLI04 Media DI Box from Palmer is designed to convert your personal computer or laptop s unbalanced outputs into balanced signals. This will assist you with presentations, meetings, or public engagements by allowing your computer or laptop to connect to a PA system and other necessary sound equipment. The Media DI Box accommodates most common input types, including TRS jacks with mono or stereo plugs, RCA phono sockets, and a 3.5mm stereo jack for use with the headphone output of a laptop or similar device. There are conventional transformer-balanced XLR output sockets which provide an electrically decoupling signal for noise-free operation. The media box can also be switched to mono mode, with the two stereo signals summed and fed to both the XLR outputs.
