Part of the the SpaceBar modular microphone positioning system, the Grace Design SB-SUR-HD Surround Tree allows for mounting up to 5 microphones. In its standard configuration three, microphones can be mounted as a front triplet and two microphones can be mounted as a rear pair.
All microphone spacings can be precisely adjusted using the engraved centimeter scales on the bars. The front left and right microphone-holder spacing can be adjusted from 2.4 to 40.2" (with E420 bar) or 2.4 to 19.7" (with E407 bar). Also, all microphone angles of incidence can be precisely adjusted in 5° increments.
The SB-SUR-HD features a heavy-duty stand mount adapter. The adapter requires a stand with a 5/8" / 16mm " baby" pin or a 1-1/8" / 23mm " junior" socket.
