Since the mic will work with any app that accepts audio from your device`s input jack, you can use the lapel mic in a variety of production or personal applications.
With its omnidirectional polar pattern, the VD-SL1 is quite forgiving, picking up sound from all around the mic; even if you turn away from the capsule a little, you`ll still be heard clearly. The mic comes with an attached 4.9` cable that terminates in a 3.5mm TRRS connection for smartphones with conventional mic/headphone jacks. When connected to an Apple Lightning to 3.5mm adapter (available separately), the mic can be used with Lightning iOS devices. A windscreen and lapel clip are included.
