Bose Single 1/8' Stereo Female to Single/Dual 1/8' Mono Male Airline Adapter

Neither this, nor the supplied jack cable work with the BA sockets. My old Bose headphones' jack cable still works so will return the new headphones. What's going on?!

I own this pair for about 3 months now, and I absolutely love them, I haven't had such a nice headphones. It's almost easy to forget that you have them ON or hard to take them off because then all the noise around will come to you haha ; is kind-off like the video ad where this person is walking by her self on the street and is totally empty, well is not THE SAME but the noisy cancelling is significant. oh and you might be ok wearing them all day long because they are really nice on you, this have a very soft pad on top and for my baldy head, is just almost unnoticeable, so I would highly recommend it. Bummers of the design for me are: 1 - If you have them on and if you sliding down toward your neck for any reason, guess what! The inside part of the ear piece, the one open from the inside where the sounds come from, FOLDs outward!! not inward. what I mean is: a) you need to turn them out or you will fill like choking (just the feeling), so if you try to turn them IN like to protect the inside part of the headphone, guess what!! you can't!! you can't.. b) so the inside part of the earpiece looks really weird being expose, specially if you are on the street or in a dusty place... I just can't handle on my head why the designers did such a design. my very personal opinion is that this is a horrible designer's mistake. 2) another truly bummer of this headphones is that... if you try to use it as well for phone calls.. oh my.. they are incredible SENSITIVE to any noisy around you, like you can rubber your finger and it will be heard on the other side of the line, if you are barefoot walking on a wood floor and if you are dragging your feet just a little bit, the other side CAN heard it, gran a bad of chips, yes the other side can clearly heard that too at the point of accusing you of making so much noisy; and I mean is so clear that when I am on the phone with friend they are were able to describe what I am doing by just listening to the environmental noise created by my movement and things that pick, put, drag, drop, etc.. well please do not release any gas.. it will be heard TOO!! Wish that was an easy fix with a firmware release. but other than that.... this are amazing headphones! highly recommended. I feel like puting 3 starts because bummer 1 and 2, but I will do 4 starts because I truly like the headpohnes. The 5th start will be if they fix the call noisy sensitivity of the microphone asap.

I bought this for my flight to Africa only to find out that upon unpacking my brand new headphones the adapter was broken. I kinda works without but not really.

I've found the adapter generally doesn't fit the flights i've been on so end up using the carriers cheap headphones so what's the point of these then??

I fly UNITED always and they only have a single jack for years now, so you can easily use the thin grey chord with your Bose wireless headphones. But I had to fly Lufthansa recently transatlantic and Lufthansa still uses the double-jack system for which you would be buying this....But a fellow passenger taught me an easy work-around. You can put your single-jack metal pin in 1 of the double-jack holes....you don't insert it fully and you twist it until you can hear the sound in both ears....this work-around renders this product obsolete. Hope this helps you!
