With exquisite mid highs and rich, faithful low mids, the TH808 headphones provide a premium listening experience.
The thick earpad cushions are extremely comfortable, offering minimal resistance for fatigue-free listening during long sessions. The detachable OFC (oxygen-free copper) Y-cable sports 2-pin, rhodium-plated connectors for long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance. The TH808 headphones include a leather pouch for convenient storage and transport.
Premium Driver Unit from TH900 Series
The TH808 is equipped with a proprietary in-house-crafted driver unit, derived from the top-of-the-line TH909. This driver unit blends bio-cellulose fiber with various other materials on the diaphragm for a low specific gravity, high Young's modulus, and superior internal loss rate. Utilizing a 1.5 Tesla ultra-strong repulsive magnet circuit with neodymium magnets, the drivers deliver exceptional responsiveness and an expansive dynamic range across all frequencies.
Exquisite Open-Back Housing
The open-back housing is made from solid black walnut and aluminum. The walnut not only showcases a distinctive style, it also enhances resonance, which when combined with the carefully calibrated open-back aperture and precisely fine-tuned, etched-aluminum components, offers a natural sound field and a comfortable, fatigue-free listening experience.
Rugged, Detachable Cable
The TH808 sports a detachable Y-cable connection to the headphones with 7N grade internal wiring and 2-pin connectors and jacks, both with rhodium plating. Rhodium plating is renowned for its durability, resistance to wear, and corrosion resistance. You can also optionally purchase the ET-H3.ON7BL XLR cable (sold separately) for a balanced connection to headphones.
