Behringer HPS3000 Closed-Back Studio Headphones

I bought this fir my grandson. He has 5 siblings. These help block out the noise while he's gaming. He loves them.

These headphones feel great and are a great price. Not as loud as I hoped. I did specifically look for quality of sound products rather than volume. Great for the price.

I honestly don't know if these are the best headphones for studio audio editing work. I hear more with my iPhone headphones than I do these... maybe that is the design? I don't know. It just concerns me that I hear more with ordinary headphones than I do these. However, these do have a benefit in that they are helpful in that the sound doesn't really leak out and there is noise reduction from your surrounding environment while wearing these.

Quality well exceeds the low price point of these headphones. The oversized padding, long cord, and screw-in 1/4-inch adapter are all nice features that make these easy to record with for long stretches. I've been using these for 8 months and have had no issues with durability or sound quality. As far as the actual acoustics, I'm no expert, but there seems to be decent clarity and distinction between highs and lows. My only gripe is that when I use these to mix in my DAW (Reaper), the finished product that I hear on the phones often sounds very different from the devices I play music on, whether speakers or other headphones. I can't complain too much, because things sound clean enough on the phones, but it can make it tricky to get a well-mixed file that I can share with friends and family. Typically, it seems like the Behringer headphones downplay the bass presence, which often overpowers on other sound devices.

It's cheap, but they do work. Don't expect great sound or bumping bass. If you need just a quick solution for headphones they will work. However if you want something that sounds good invest in higher quality pair. This would be good for general short term use or for people who might be a bit rough on equipment.
