FLIR 380395 Overview
Safely measure the resistance of cable insulation and more with the Extech 380395 from FLIR, a high-voltage digital insulation tester. Capable of measuring up to 60 gigohms as well as AC/DC voltages up to 600V, this tester can handle a wide range of detailed cable testing applications.
The Extech 380395 features 500, 1000, 2500, and 5000V testing voltages. It can measure AC/DC voltages with Min/Max, Peak, and Relative functions, allowing you to analyze the complete voltage performance of an installation. This meter can also measure the polarization index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) of insulation. This autoranging tester sports a large, backlit, 6000-count LCD screen with a bargraph for easy at-a-glance readings, and displays both output and discharge voltages. The Extech 380395 includes test leads, eight C-batteries, an AC adapter, and a heavy-duty carrying case.
