The Atmosphere 400W Power Amplifier from Atlas Sound is a 4-channel, class-AB power amp designed to interface with the Atmosphere family of products, such as the AZM series of processors, and deliver up to 100W of power per channel into high and low impedance speaker loads including 4-ohm, 8-ohm, and 70 or 100V operation. This 400W amp is ready to use right out of the box, with no additional configuration required, but it comes with a RJ45 ethernet port for networked configuration and remote control as well as eight covered screw terminal barrier strip connectors for rugged and reliable connection to your speaker system, and four balanced push-terminal inputs.
This Atmosphere power amp is equipped with convenient 24-bit / 48 kHz DSP processing for applying 5-band parametric EQ, output limiting, and adjustable high- and low-pass filters on each output as well as supporting robust matrix mixing functions for customizable routing. The unit also sports failsafe power operation thanks to its auto-voltage sensing PSU, which adapts to any AC voltage source between 110 and 230 VAC.
Optional Dante Expansion
The Atmosphere power amps are equipped with a slot for accepting an optional 4-channel Dante receiver card (model DPA-DAC4), expanding their inputs to a total of eight balanced inputs. All inputs can be mixed and routed to any of the four amplifier channels.
