The black Atlas Sound CP700 is a dual-channel 700W commercial power amplifier specifically designed for installation in paging/background-music systems, foreground music systems, distributed sound-masking applications, night clubs, and theaters. It delivers 350W per channel at 70.7V or 100V, or 400W per channel at 4 Ohms. Each channel utilizes its own power supply, enhancing channel separation and lowering distortion. The CP700 supports stereo, bridge, or parallel functionality via a rear-panel switch, and can drive low-impedance or constant-voltage speakers via barrier strip outputs.XLR and barrier strip inputs are provided along with XLR pass-through connectors. Dual-speed fan cooling and multiple protection circuits ensure reliable operation. For improved security, stepped attenuators for each channel are mounted on the rear of the amplifier. The CP700's sturdy enclosure occupies 3 RU of rack space.
