ATI Audio Inc ADA412-XLR Quad 1x3 Low-Noise Analog Distribution Amplifier with XLR Connectors
The ATI ADA412-XLR is an amplifier capable of routing audio to four 1x3 distribution amplifier channels, all via balanced XLR inputs and outputs. The unit provides a master gain adjustment control for each channel, while individual trimmers are on hand for each output to accommodate gears of various sensitivities over its 20 dB range. Use it to distribute audio in offices, nightclubs, and more.
You`re sure to get a low-noise, strong-signal operation out of the ADA412-XLR, as the unit is RF protected to eliminate noise from radio interference. It`s also designed to give you pure signal even when you`re using lossy cable splitters over long cable runs.
Its automatically ground-sensing active outputs can connect to either balanced or unbalanced loads. In total, the unit provides 4 balanced XLR inputs as well as 12 balanced XLR outputs, divided into four independent channels, with separate input and clipping LEDs for each 1x3 group so you know if you`re ever likely to distort audio passing through.
Easy Installation for Office Use
The ADA is designed for rack mounting on standard racks. Each unit dissipates approximately 10W and is designed for use in an office environment.
Powerful Circuitry with Accurate Controls
An LF347N quad bi-FET op-amp forms the three variable gain output adjustment stages. Thesevariable gain stages use a circuit arrangement that allows ATI to provide a smooth, logarithmic gain control for each output using a linear cermet potentiometer. Since the ADA412 actually reduces the stage gain for low outputs rather than taking the more conventional approach of reducing the input level to a fixed gain amplifier, you can use the ADA at low output levels with very little noise penalty.
Protected against RFI
ATI has taken measures to keep RFI out of the unit, including split and bypassed inputnetworks, beaded, bypassed, and isolated power inputs, nonconcentric wound, semi-toroidalpower transformers, double ground plane PC boards, and a quality enclosure to keep rain andsnow off the circuit boards.
