JBL Cinema Processor for Select 5.1 and 7.1 Surround Sound Systems (2 RU)
The 2 RU Cinema Processor from JBL is designed to provide audio enhancement and volume control for surround sound systems in cinemas. It features DSP processing, room EQ tuning, volume control, and system fault detection and can be configured through a specially designed GUI software. There are four inputs including analog, digital, non-sync, and mono microphone. This processor also features 10 x 15-pin analog output connectors for passive, bi-amp, or tri-amp connection and a 25-pin analog output connector for connection with a third-party audio system. Its redundant output works together with the analog input and will bypass this CPi2000 system to directly output audio signals in case power failure occurs.
Analog and digital inputs accept audio signal from any cinema server
Non-sync input receives line-level stereo signal from a CD or DVD player for background music playback
Microphone input connects to an RTA microphone for calibration or a vocal microphone for voice broadcast
USB port for configuration file import/export
LAN port for GUI control and firmware updates
Analog output 1 connects to a secondary, passive sound system
Redundant output for connection to a backup sound system in the event of power failure
