Atlas Sound 4x4 Dante-Enabled Smart Zone Processor
The Atlas Sound 1544ZOP is a 4x4 Dante-enabled output processor, providing networking audio routing and zone-based digital signal processing to compatible amplifiers or powered line-arrays. The device offers a host of usable options, including comprehensive equalization, level-control, and an extra goodie: AlwaysHEAR smart ambient analysis technology, which can automatically adjust levels in a zone to suit the background noise of the environment.
Providing phoenix block terminals and redundant Ethernet ports, the 1544ZOP gives you four line-level balanced analog audio outputs as well as four inputs, useful for various tasks. Use the 1544ZOP with Atlas Sound s GLOBALCOM IP announcement controller, or use it in stand-alone applications. The necessary power supply is available separately.
Four Balanced Line-Level Inputs
In addition to the four zone outputs, the 1544ZOP has four balanced line-level analog inputs. You can use them in a variety of ways. You can deploy the inputs as automated test inputs associated with the four zone outputs. Alternately, the analog inputs may be routed out over the Dante network for such uses as background music or auxiliary sources.
8 Logic Inputs
The 1544ZOP also provides eight logic inputs. Four of the inputs are standard closure detection and four are supervision capable, which offer a means to detect open or short conditions on the incoming links.
Automatic Ambient Noise Response
Inputs are provided for connecting up to eight 540S ambient noise sensors, breaking down into two sensors for each output channel. This allows the output of each channel to be automatically adjusted in real time, based on the measured ambient noise level in a zone.

The 1544ZOP may be configured from a GLOBALCOM.IP System Management Center (SMC) or via the open-standard SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).
