The JBL MTC-81TB8 is a tile bridge designed for use with an MTC-81BB8 pre-install backcan to allow easy installation of a JBL 8138 8 speaker in a ceiling. It fits 24 and 23.6 tile grids. The bridge eliminates ceiling tile sag by evenly distributing the speaker s weight to the ceiling s support system. It is constructed from rust-resistant steel and has an e-coated finish for a long service life.
Designed for use with the JBL 8138 speaker and MTC-81BB8 backcan (both available separately) for in-ceiling mounting
