Eartec Max 4G Single Headset with 4-Pin XLR Female Connector

I Use this product while running sound at my church. It allows me to stay in Contact with the Video Director. It's light weight and has a good length to the cable. Volume is good on it as well. Ear peace is a little small, but very comfortable.

Several years ago I purchased a Clear-com compatible pack and headset for use in various Theaters I work in. Recently during a show my headset mic started failing so I hopped on and purchased this one as a replacement. The audio is clear, the fit is comfortable and it's light. I'm very impressed with this unit for the price.

I like saving money. I also like making sure saving money doesnt mean compromising quality. This headset seems to meet that requirement. I was looking for a good ClearCom intercom system headset replacement...the Telex ones are industry standard but too expensive I think for what you get. So I thought Id give this a try. Im not sure how long it will hold up, but its been through several video shoots with my ClearCom system no problem. I like that its lightweight and can be used on either ear. The stock image makes it look larger than it really is...its pretty compact. The headband adjustment is a little difficult, and maybe if you had a large head it would get uncomfortable. But for me the only real negative is the plasticky-ness of it (will it hold up to rough use?). On a side note, Ive just ordered a second one in Feb, and apparently this now ships with a cloth pad and not leatherette. This isnt really a deal breaker for me as I think the cloth is more comfortable on long shoots. But as of this writing the description is incorrect.
