CAD GXLIEM Single-Mix In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System (T: 902 to 928 MHz)

I've used this with my band on about 20 gigs so far. I had much lower expectations for 4 channels of IEMs at this price point. Very few dropouts, super clean sound quality. The included earbuds are crystal clear and fit really well (my custom-made earplugs fall out easier than these guys). Highly recommended!

When this system first came on my radar I was very skeptical of it. There weren't many reviews out about it, and not many retailers had it in stock. I did my research and looked everywhere. The few reviews that I could find were good, and the retailer with the best price and units in stock was right here at Photo. Still I wasn't convinced. I came from using a Shure IEM system in my previous band that was built like a tank, and sounded awesome. The problem I was faced with was that I needed a cost effective solution to get my new band members using IEM's. Being in Canada, I wanted to avoid cross-border importing and international warranty, etc. So I went to our biggest instrument retailer and started asking about this CAD GXLIEM4 system. They couldn't tell me anything about it, but the rep who was helping me happened to be a huge fan of CAD products in general. That gave me enough trust to go for it. I got them to order the system for me so that I could make my purchase in Canada, and keep my warranty with them. About a month later I followed up with the store because I hadn't received any word about my order. They looked into it and it apparently hadn't even shipped from their supplier yet. I circled back to Photo only to find that this product was now on sale for WAY less than I was going to get it for in Canada, even with the exchange rate on USD and import charges. So I called to confirm the pricing was all correct and that there would be no warranty hassles, etc, and ultimately ordered the system from them on the same call. I cancelled my Canadian order and received the system 3-days after placing my order from ! Incredible service. Once hooked up/tested, everyone in my band was really pleased with the quality of the sound, and we run 4-individual mixes. It doesn't quite match the quality of the Shure system but it comes pretty close. And for the cost of the GXLIEM4, you cannot go wrong! Excellent system to get started with IEM's.
