Lectrosonics LEM2TWSK Overview
Using state-of-the-art Digital RF Modulation technology, this Lectrosonics M2 Digital IEM/IFB Monitoring System with Dante Kit from adds four M2Ra Digital IEM/IFB bodypack receivers to provide high-quality sound for performers or any professionals needing to monitor detailed audio wirelessly.
Lectrosonics M2T IEM Digital Half-Rack Transmitter with Dante (470 to 608 MHz)
The M2T IEM Digital Half-Rack Transmitter with Dante from Lectrosonics features transmission power up to 50 mW for extended operating range and locking XLR/TRS combo connectors, that facilitate up to four channels of analog audio sources. The Dante connection is equipped with two RJ45 connectors, four audio RX channels, and is internally routable. With ultra-low latency, 24-bit audio, and two stereo-digital channels, the M2T is an IEM transmitter for professional broadcast applications.
Built with a USB port for firmware updates and an IR port for fast setups, the M2T transmitter has a large, high-resolution backlit color LCD with large membrane switches for an intuitive interface visible in daylight or dimly-lit conditions. Analog signals are converted to an internal 24-bit digital format that is encoded, organized into packets, and passed to an RF modulator. The RF signal is filtered before and after amplification to suppress out-of-band noise and spurious signals.
Additionally, the M2T transmitter employs a technology that provides a frequency response from 20 Hz to 15 kHz with maximum channel separation. This digital audio technology eliminates a compandor and the associated artifacts, resulting in crystal clear sound, rock-solid stereo imaging, and low distortion.
Lectrosonics M2Ra Digital IEM/IFB Receiver (A1B1: 470 to 614 MHz)
The M2Ra Digital IEM/IFB Receiver from Lectrosonics is a wireless receiver designed to provide reliable high-quality wireless monitoring for professional musicians, presenters, and performers in live stage, theater, and broadcast applications. This version of the receiver operates in the A1B1 UHF frequency band, which ranges from 470 to 614 MHz depending on your locale. The M2Ra is compatible with the M2T wireless transmitter and features IFB, D2, and HDM compatibility modes for use with additional Lectrosonics transmitter models.
The receiver employs sophisticated antenna diversity switching to ensure reliable reception without dropouts or interference. It also employs 2-way IR sync, sending data from the receiver to the M2T transmitter and allowing frequency planning and coordination to be done quickly and confidently with on-site RF information via Lectrosonics Wireless Designer Software.
The 24-bit digital audio stream delivers high-resolution sound quality with a wide dynamic range, low noise floor, and solid stereo imaging. The 3.5mm headphone jack is fed from a high-quality 250 mW stereo amplifier, allowing it to drive a wide variety of headphones, earphones, and in-ear monitors.
Users can select from stereo, mono from the left or right channel, or mono from both channels, allowing the receiver to quickly adapt to different applications. An intuitive mixing interface and high-resolution color LCD provide performing artists and monitor engineers with a comfortable and confident user experience. The M2Ra runs on two AA lithium or high-capacity NiMH rechargeable batteries for up to 7 hours.
