On-Stage SMS7650 Overview
The On-Stage SMS7650 is a 40 lb microphone stand suitable for use in studio applications. It sports a 17 lb patented Hex Base that provides both stability and mobility, thanks to its three removable casters. The main shaft of the stand extends from 40 to 82" , doing so in three independent sections with locking tension knobs.
An 82" boom arm can swoop to give you the angle you need, locking with a 40-tooth clutch. This boom arm has a sliding 7 lb counterweight to make sure your precious mic doesn t crash to the floor with a heartbreaking thump. At the end of this boom sits you guessed it another boom, this one giving you 7" of range. This mini-boom has a Posi-lok clutch, and as such, adjusts handily to any microphone position.
