The bottom of the Windkiller is constructed of a specially designed rubber mount that grips the microphone while still making it easy to slide it on and off. The top is a faux fur that is highly durable and works to block out wind noise. It is compatible with the following microphones: Audio-Technica AT4053, DPA4006, and DPA4011 Neumann KM Series RODE NT55 Schoeps CMC Series Sennheiser ME 64, 62, and MKH 8050.
