Microtech Gefell M1030 Overview
The Microtech Gefell M 1030 is a large-diaphragm, solid-state condenser microphone offering premium performance in a space-saving design. With ultralow self-noise, wide dynamic range, and extremely high SPL handling, the M 1030 is well suited for pristine voice recording and instrument miking in studios and radio stations.
The compact housing, which contains current semiconductor circuit technology, including a transistor amplifier, features a standard 3-pin XLR output connector and can be mounted in the supplied EA 92 elastic suspension, which helps to isolate the mic from noise caused by vibrations and handling. The large-diaphragm capsule utilizes a PE diaphragm and a cardioid polar pattern, making it both sensitive and directional. Since the M 1030 operates on 48V phantom power from your mic preamp, it requires no external power supply unit.
