The black with gold print MXL 440 is a side-address, large-diaphragm condenser microphone designed to record vocals, stringed instruments, percussion, and more, with a rich and detailed sound.
The 440 features a gold-sputtered capsule with a cardioid polar pattern that focuses on capturing the sound in front of the mic, while rejecting unwanted ambiance and noise.
