The black Saramonic SR-BV4 is a condenser microphone designed to deliver a clean and clear vocal sound out of the box for a range of applications, including podcasting, broadcasting, voice-over work, gaming, and more. The supercardioid polar pattern yields tight frontal pickup with enhanced side rejection, helping to reduce unwanted off-axis sound and reflections.
The condenser capsule produces a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, ideal for crisp, detailed speech and vocals. The SR-BV4 features a shockmount with elastic bands that help to isolate the mic from vibrations and handling noise the mount allows for quick and easy placement on any mic stand or boom arm. The microphone features durable all-metal construction with a metal-mesh internal pop filter. An additional external pop filter is also provided that attaches to the shockmount to further reduce plosives and vocal pops. The balanced 3-pin XLR output allows standardized connectivity with a variety of mic preamps, audio interfaces, and mixers. The SR-BV4 requires 48V phantom power for operation.
