A proprietary toroidal transformer helps ensure a pristine tone, with a sweet frequency boost at around 10 kHz. The microphone sports a 30 Hz to 18 kHz frequency range. Rather than a pad switch, the SU-023 uses an external attenuator block to secure a -20 dB pad, if need be.
The mic comes with a mic holder and a wooden case.
