The Azden SGM-250P is a shotgun microphone that is powered via phantom power only for use with professional cameras and recorders. Specifically tuned to preserve the natural qualities of a speaking subject, the mic provides video creators with a cost-effective solution for mobile journalism, run & gun, and documentary applications.
The SGM-250P features a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and a two-step low cut filter. The mic is built with a rugged all-metal barrel and has tightly spaced vertical slots along the tip to provide side and rear rejection. Measuring about 8" in length, the SGM-250P is easily kept out of frame in boompole applications and is suitable for almost any filming situation.
The mic is equipped with a gold-plated XLR output, and comes with a shoemount holder, a foam windshield, and a zippered carrying case.
