A versatile and low-cost audio capture solution for mobile journalists, livestreamers, vloggers, and busy videographers, the Moza N2 camera-mount shotgun microphone provides better sound quality and less background than their device s built-in mic without sacrificing convenience and travel readiness. Since it comes with 3.5mm TRS and TRRS cables, the mic can be connected to the TRS mic input of a camera or portable audio recorder, or to the TRRS headphone jack of a smartphone or tablet.
Boasting simple plug-and-play operation, the N2 never needs batteries because it runs on plug-in power from your device. The all-aluminum body keeps the weight down while inhibiting noise from interference. Supplied with a detachable shoe/tripod shockmount and indoor/outdoor wind protection, the N2 helps you record cleaner audio with less noise from camera/phone handling and wind, no matter where you shoot.
Ultracompact Form Factor
At 3.7 long, the N2 can sit comfortably on your camera or smartphone and never enter the frame.
Shoe/Tripod Shockmount
Equipped with four rubber bands to suspend the N2 mic and decouple it from vibration/handling noise, the shockmount attaches to your camera s cold shoe or a 1/4 -20 screw on a tripod.
Plug-and-Play Operation
The N2 never needs batteries because it runs on plug-in power from your camera or mobile device.
Camera and Smartphone Cables
Use the 3.5mm TRS cable to connect the N2 to a camera or portable audio recorder, or swap to the TRS to TRRS cable when you need to plug the mic into the headphone jack of a smartphone or tablet.
Gold-Plated Output Jack
The 3.5mm TRS output jack on the N2 is gold plated to ensure optimal signal transfer.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
Using a cardioid polar pattern, the N2 is a highly directional on-camera mic ideal for producing quality audio recordings. Its highly sensitive condenser element catches the target voice in front of the camera and minimizes distracting background noise behind the mic.
Indoor and Outdoor Wind Protection
Slide the furry windshield over the mic to lessen noise from wind during outdoor recordings, or switch to the foam windscreen when shooting indoors.
