This ultracompact and ultralightweight shotgun microphone features a detachable shockmount that mounts directly to your DSLR, mirrorless, or video camera and reduces noise from vibrations and camera handling. The supplied furry windshield minimizes wind noise, making it well suited for outdoor shoots. Plus, the bottom of the shockmount features a camera shoe mount with a 3/8" thread, ensuring easy attachment to your camera or a boompole such as Rode s Micro Boompole (available separately).
Furry Windshield Minimizes Wind Noise
The VideoMicro includes a furry windshield to minimize unwanted wind noise from breezes, fans, heaters, and air conditioners.
Connectivity Options
Expand the microphone s device compatibility with Rode accessories such as the SC4, SC7, and VXLR+ (all available separately). With either the SC4 or SC7, you can connect the VideoMicro directly to a smartphone or tablet equipped with a 3.5mm TRRS jack. The VXLR+ adapter is the ideal solution when you want to record the VideoMicro to a camcorder or mixer that has XLR inputs.
